A luxurious at-home bar space offers more than just a spot to mix drinks; it creates an elevated atmosphere that enhances both everyday living and special occasions. Many of our clients request custom bar spaces in their new homes to make entertaining feel effortless and memorable. With tailored storage, elegant finishes, and thoughtful design, the home bars in our projects combine practicality with indulgence.
As the holiday season approaches, we’re sharing some of our favorite at-home bar designs that bring convenience, charm, and a touch of sophistication to hosting. Whether it’s mixing a guest’s festive cocktail or simply keeping favorite spirits within easy reach, a well-designed home bar adds both style and function to seasonal entertaining.

Coastal Gambrel Shingle
Our recently completed Coastal Gambrel Shingle project showcases a lower-level Art Deco–inspired speakeasy, complete with a stunning bar and spacious banquette. Designed with both style and comfort in mind, it creates the perfect moody atmosphere to relax and enjoy drinks with loved ones.

Colonial Manor
At our Colonial Manor project, the serving pantry doubles as a bar and includes everything needed for both functions, including a kegerator. Its glazed surfaces and wallpapered ceiling add rich layers of visual interest.

Shorefront Shingle
Our Shorefront Shingle home’s eyebrow dormer creates the perfect alcove for a charming bourbon bar with under-lit shelving, a refreshment fridge and an icemaker.

French Eclectic
Next up is our French Eclectic waterfront sanctuary. Situated in a timber post-and-beam framework recreation room with a large screen television and oversized couches, this sophisticated full bar features LED accent lighting, mirror panels and glass shelving.

Rye Beach Shingle
This L-shaped, rift-sawn mahogany wet bar is set against the shiplap paneling of our Rye Beach Shingle project’s nautically themed recreation room. Curving statuesquely into the hall, it accommodates a resort-like service station between the counter and the glass-and-mirror-shelved hutch, an arrangement any mixologist could appreciate.
The recreation space also includes a sport court, table tennis, bunk beds, and a fireplace. Learn more about our Rye Beach Shingle design, which was featured in the Netflix show The Watcher.

Smith Cove Transitional
The last project included in our round-up of elegant home bars is our Smith Cove Transitional, where the blue bar alcove is conveniently located to serve guests across the open living, kitchen and dining areas.
